The DEL SOL
table top facial tanner: use this powerful 800 watt unit for
facial or sectional body tanning. Like all UV sunlamps it also helps with
the body's natural Vitamin D production. The Del Sol Tanning Lamp is priced
at $209 and comes with everything you need to start tanning at home.
The Sentosa Sun
Package: The same sunlamp head as the Del Sol, but with the
added convenience of an adjustable tripod floor stand making it easy to
easily tan various areas of your body. Priced at only $269.
The new KBD D/UV lamp - The
Vitamin D Lamp: this UV Sunlamp is designed to aid in the body's natural production of Vitamin D that results
from UltraViolet light exposure. It's high percentage of UVB rays naturally
generated Vitamin D in the body. Available as a table top unit for $239 or
add the adjustable floor stand for $60 more.
PH-36 Psoriasis Lamp:
classified as a medical device, this effective UV sunlamp is was created to
treat Psoriasis with UV Light Therapy. If the summer sun's UV rays help
clear up your Psoriasis, then a UV sunlamp will do the same thing for you,
usually faster. Available as a table top unit for $299 or add the adjustable
floor stand for $50 more.
SunQuest Tanning Canopies: in production since 1989, but rapidly growing in popularity as a great alternative to a tanning bed. A Tanning Canopy is basically half a tanning bed. It is mounted on a sturdy and mobile (has roller wheels) floor stand and has either six (SunQuest 1000s) or ten (SunQuest 2000s) full length Wolff tanning bed bulbs. Plugs into a regular 110v outlet. Starting at $799.
HT-420: manufactured by Dr. Kern Corp. in Germany, this UV home tanning lamp is the largest table top sunlamp on the US market. Referred to as a 'Salon Sunlamp', it provides more tanning coverage per session. Priced at $399.
| RETURN POLICY: requests to return
our sunlamps are very rare, but when we receive one it is usually from a
customer who has used the sunlamp to achieve a tan for vacation,
wedding, prom, or other social event, and now prefer to have their money
back. Since sunlamps are seasonal items (not much need for them in the
summer) we do get some return requests in the summer months. Lastly,
some customers simply have financial distress and need the money. Other
than these reasons above, return requests are extremely rare, as there
is really no other reasons to request a return. -We cannot accept used/returned Sunlamps back into stock. We
sell only brand new factory direct units with a manufacturers warranty,
and do not sell used or refurbished units. No returns are accepted.
We do guarantee safe and undamaged delivery. We do provide a manufacturers warranty for the very rare instances that there is a problem. These UV tanning lamps are proven effective, it's simple science of Ultraviolet Light, if you can tan from the sun's UV rays you will tan from a Sunlamp's UV rays. These units are very well built here in the USA, and problems with them are very rare, but if there is a defect - it is covered by your warranty. Return requests are much less than 1% (about 1 out of every 250 customers). Our sunlamps have been in constant manufacture for over 60 years (with upgrades and improvements over the years of course). Can I tan my whole body with a sunlamp - tanning lamp?
Our Sperti (Del Sol & Sentosa Sun) sunlamps are 'sectional tanners' and are not designed for full body tanning. Due to their size, they can only tan a section of your body at a time. That said, it is possible to tan the whole body, but it would take multiple sessions to do so . We do not recommend these sunlamps for full body tanning due to the time it would take to tan multiple sections of your body. If your goal is to have a complete full body tan we suggest purchasing our SunQuest Tanning Canopy, or a home tanning bed.

UV Therapy - Phototherapy:
Our UV sunlamps are often recommended by
dermatologists to help people with skin conditions such as psoriasis,
eczema,
acne, etc.. If you see improvement in your skin condition during the
summer months when your skin is exposed to the sun's UV rays, then a UV
sunlamp will provide the same positive results. Ask your dermatologist about UV phototherapy and if a UV sunlamp can help you.
You can order the FDA approved PH-36 Psoriasis Lamp which requires a
prescription, or you can look at our non-prescription sunlamps.

The Spectral Distribution of our sunlamps is
approximately 25-30% +/- UVB, and approximately 70-75% +/- UVA.
These are reported ultraviolet outputs that may fluctuate.
The PH-36 Psoriasis Sunlamp has approximately 35% +/- UVB output, and
approximately 65% +/- UVA ouput.

What are the options for tanning equipment available?
From the weakest to the most
powerful - this is everything available in the USA. These are the levels:
1) The 'Euro Style Facial Tanner' (sold under various names): We don't sell this model because we
feel its low power is not adequate/effective. It has 4 small 15 watt bulbs, and
when we tested it our personal conclusion was the power was not sufficient -
which is why we do not offer that unit.
2) Our Sperti Sunlamps: Powerful and effective sectional tanners.
Sperti sunlamps have been in constant production for over 50 years.
3) SunQuest Tanning Canopies: Half of a tanning bed - you just have to roll
over to tan the other side. Runs off a standard 110/120v outlet, & is easily moved and stored.
4) Tanning Beds: Nice to have, but expensive, have to rewire your home,
and they take up a lot of space.
Our warranty,
including our Summer Tan free extended warranty is valid only for units
within the USA and Canada.
Units that are shipped overseas are NOT UNDER WARRANTY due to the
different electrical systems overseas.
(USA & Canada use 110v electrical current, and overseas 220v is used, so
only a quality 1000+ step down transformer can be used if you live
overseas.
We offer quality sunlamps and canopies, but we also sell the "Au Courant" premium sunless tanning lotion and products which allow you to get a natural looking tan without exposure to UV rays. Our Au Courant sunless tanning lotions work on every skin type, no matter how fair your skin, so now there is no excuse for not having a nice tan! Many customers also use Au Courant sunless tanning products to enhance their natural tan.
THE ONLY COMPETITION
This is the only facial tanning lamp competition on the
US market. We sell every sunlamp - tanning lamp available in the USA except
this unit.
The 'Euro Style Facial Tanner' is sold under several different brand names,
made of white plastic, and is made in China. The various model names may
vary in appearance just a little bit, but
they all run off of only FOUR 15 (fifteen) watt bulbs - that's only 60 watts.
The lure of this particular design is that it does in fact 'look good',
and the $89 - $99 price tag looks even better.
We've tested this unit, several times over the years, and in our opinion, after multiple tests, it is too weak to be effective.
